April 17, 2008: MOP and DUST MITTS

Issue/Problem: Dusting and mopping tools made of virgin products contribute to greenhouse gas build-up.

Solution: Use mops and dust mitts made of recycled and/or renewable materials.

Policy: Only the following dusting and mopping tools may be purchased:

1. 1. Mop heads made with Pet plastic bottles and reclaimed cotton
2. 2. Mop handles made with 65% bamboo and 35% reclaimed hardwood
3. 3. Dust mops make with Pet plastic bottles and reclaimed cotton
4. 4. Dusting Mitt make with Pet plastic bottles and reclaimed cotton
