January 26, 2009: HYBRID VEHICLE RESERVED PARKING SPACES
(revised April 27, 2011)

Issue/Problem: Conventional vehicles consume fossil fuels, contributing to greenhouse gas build-up in the atmosphere.

Solution: Encourage use of highly efficient and electric drive vehicles

Policy: Any company unit that controls its own parking lot spaces must have at least two spaces reserved  for hybrid or electric vehicles.

Comments: Sign will read the following:

• - Reserved for Electric, Hybrid, or Ultra-low Emission Vehicles
